Grumpy Troll Brew Pub

Went there a week ago with a group of 6 women. Waitress was very nice but came back and told us that our order did make it in. Four of the women got their meals while 2 had to wait over 10 minutes for their pizza. Tried it again last night and got seated right away. Took 15 minutes before waitress/waiter saw us. Asked for our drinks which took another 5 to 10 minutes to arrive. Waiter then took a food order from another table that had arrived AFTER us. Good food, but service is extremely poor. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Nice atmosphere. We arrived as soon as they opened and was busy within minutes. Food was ok and very good service.

I heard so much raving about this place, but then I felt it was just ok. I thought prices were very high. Everyone talks about the pretzel but I could not spend $19 on a pretzel, so we go the chips with Gorgonzola dip instead and they were chewy and not great. Brat was good. We were sat upstairs near the restrooms and felt a little disconnected from the restaurant atmosphere. Maybe we would’ve liked the vibe better downstairs but we seemed to be in our own world besides people coming and going from the restrooms.
