Denny's

The service was terrible. Our waitress took 2 breaks while we were there and the left without saying anything to us. We had to go to the register and ask for takeout boxes and our check. Turns out a couple waitresses left and there was one for the whole building! We gave the tip to her. The food we got was barely warm as it had been sitting in the window forever while our slacker waitress was on her 2nd, or maybe her 3rd break....I lost count....

Just not the same. First time at a Dennys in 20 years. The only decent thing was the pancakes. Would have been better, but the syrup bottle was welded to the table by goo and old syrup. Not going back without the Grand Slam menu. Nah, not going back. … More

Went there for my birthday, had a nice time and food was good but had two separate servers who were new and/or undertrained; asked about the birthday deal and if it was specifically for the grand slam breakfast and was told "yeah just scan your promo code at checkout". Got to checkout, was told "oh, no sorry she's new it's actually the everyday value breakfast so the deal doesn't apply". Asked if there was anything they could do to offer any kind of discount or compensation since I had specifically asked ahead of time (twice!) and was still told the wrong information and they said "no we don't do that". Extremely frustrated.
