Café Benelux

Nice place in the middle of Milwaukee hustle and bustle. It can be loud at times mixed with all the street smells if you choose to be on the terrace. Food is good however the bread slices of sandwich I ordered were burnt or overdone. Service is good and hospitable however we constantly had to look or call for our server Vegetarian options: There are a very few vegetarian options Parking: Street parking is available however it is difficult to find a spot during busy hours Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp to get in and a manual elevator available to get to the terrace

Not a ‘wow’ of a Milwaukee dining experience but fair. Would definitely choose options in Milwaukee Public Marketplace or to the south first. Food: pretty middle of the line. It doesn’t have a special touch to it. The price is too high to not have that ‘something’ extra. I got the breakfast burrito and also tried the waffle with goat cheese. The waffle was a better option. Venue: cool spot in the middle of bustling MKE. We did have a very pushy guy loiter our table and try to push white guilt with a monologue while ‘not’ selling us products. It sucks trying to relax while having to stand up for your own enjoyment. Service: awesome! Super helpful server that helped us get what we were looking for. Very friendly and knowledgeable. You’ll have to pay for parking or else most likely walk 1-3 blocks after getting city parking.

I was at a work event downtown and was looking for a place to eat dinner. We came across Cafe Benelux. We were seated immediately. The service was friendly, helpful, and fast. I had the Crab Cake BLT. OMG!!! It was delicious. I would get it again when I come back... And I will definitely be back! Great selection of food on the menu. Clean restaurant... And the atmosphere was fun! I highly recommend Cafe Benelux!
