I should have checked the most recent reviews before I recommend we go here. I always see lots of folks sitting on the patio when I walked by. My actual dining experience wasn't impressive at all. The good reviews must be for the drinks only. My girlfriends and I, total of 3 of us ate here and spent just over $200. Nothing was flavorful but the tomatoes appetizer which was just tomatoes red onion and feta for $17. The shrimp and grits were awful. Don't expect savory and cheesy or any fond memories you have of shrimp and grits. The pork burger was dry and tasteless. The collards were surprisingly good tho. I definitely didn't expect that. Fish and chips tasted like old grease and fried batter. The drinks were good tho. It just took the server forever to bring them and check on us for more. To top it all off we left a great tip considering the experience (over 20%) and as we were having our drinks the waiter tells us we need to go because they have other people with reservations. Even if you spend $313 for dinner with a 22% tip, they ask you to leave so they can sit other people, even though there are other empty seats in the garden. Places like this don't deserve paying customers. I'll recommend to never go here. At first I was hesitant about dining here, but I was pleasantly surprised at the cocktails and food, plus the friendly service. Parking is always an adventure in downtown but that's a given. I'd go here again, but may have to convince my husband- I think only the burger tempts him. I absolutely enjoyed the salmon- so yummy! ???????????? plus the homemade sauces.
