Roots Natural Kitchen

I’m a long time roots natural kitchen fan from Blacksburg VA, but this location is just awful. The 3 times I’ve ordered from here my bowls have been so poorly mixed. I order 2 el jefe bowls and they looks like different meals entirely (see below). What a shame.

First off- I got the Mad Bowl and it was absolutely delicious. My only complaint about the food was that the mushrooms were very gritty and sometimes hurt the teeth, which tells me they might not have been washed thoroughly. Notice that even so I rated 4 stars because the food is that dang good. The service was alright, but at the end of the line with the proteins, the people making my food were talking to each other and just holding my food doing nothing/moving slowly so I just had to awkwardly wait for them to finish my bowl while they nonchalantly chatted. Overall though, good experience and definitely will be back.

Truly appreciate the healthy and vegan food options. Had the build your own barbeque tufu salad and it was really delicious. The portions are good and price is reasonable.( As an update to my review there is instore seating/dining ) … More
