Hug-Hes Cafe

I don’t really have anything negative to say but I also wasn’t super wowed by my visit here. It wasn’t super busy, but we had to wait about 20 minutes to be seated. Then we waited another 10 minutes to be greeted and our drink order taken. Food was okay. Kind of pricey for what you’re getting. But came out relatively quick. It seemed clean and wasn’t hard to get around. But I don’t think I’d go out of my way to visit again.

We were in the area with our daughter and decided that we would try something new and this was it. The restaurant was very nice inside wasn’t expecting that in a strip mall. Inviting to the eye was the cookies and other pastry options on display when we walked in the door. After a brief wait we were seated and started to look at the menu and it is very expansive. The food was very good and the service was great as well. This is a very popular lunch so come early or expect to wait a little.

Our food was just not good. Mine arrived cold, fries stale and completely unseasoned. One tiny quarter of tomato slice for the entire sandwich. Service was awkward, and servers were vacuuming while people around them are trying to converse and eat. I do not understand the "sweet" bread, and we found it completely inedible. It tastes like someone dumped a few extra cups of white sugar in the dough - making it just sickly sweet, not flavorful. Overall, I've really been wanting to try dinner here and it was so disappointing.
