BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse

We were there during the week for lunch. We started with the calamari. It had too much breading and the flavor wasn’t that great. I had the strawberry fields chicken salad. The salad was good, however, there was barely any dressing on it and only one piece of cheese! My husband had the brisket nachos. He liked the flavor, however, he said that they needed more meat and less sauce. We use to come to this particular restaurant when we lived in San Antonio. Unfortunately, the quality has gone down. Everything use to be delicious.

Atmosphere was great and lively for a Friday night. We waited 30 min for a table and our server Sonny was great. I paid 20$ for a Jalapeño Burger and they said they cook them to medium well, but when it came out it was straight burnt. We have been coming to this BJ's for 2 years now and it always delivers. This time was even better. Our server Tawab was the epitome of a server. He made sure our cups stayed filled and we were attended to a literally the perfect intervals. He let us know he was knew but he was a pro at his craft already. We ordered the Tri Tip (our usual) and it was phenomenal. Highly suggest trying their seasonal Camaraderie Wheat beer and the Mad Crazy Mango IPA. Both were crisp and refreshing.
