Everything was great, from the start to the end. The view was beautiful, great atmosphere the entire time. We started with the charcuterie board which had a selection of three cheeses and three meats as well as organic pickles, local honey, berry jam and homemade naan with crackers. Then I had the Wild Alaska Halibut which was fresh, great seasoning and overall just delicious. My wife had the filet mignon which was really tender and perfectly cooked, the steamed carrots and purple mashed potatoes were a great combo altogether. We finished by getting the Chocolate Medley for dessert, different textures between the lightness of the Chantilly, the crispy chocolate bits and smooth chocolate mousse it didn’t last more than 2 minutes once we got it served to us. Overall it was a great experience and I’m only passing in town so I don’t know when I’ll be able to enjoy this food again but next time I’m back I’ll definitely come back at Altius. It is one of the best fine dining spots in Pittsburgh. The iconic Pittsburgh skyline warms your belly just like the food. Photo taken from the Duquesne Incline that we rode to Altuis Vegetarian options: The mushroom dish with risotto, sooo, good. I could drink the mushroom gravey in a glass.

From the excellent service, the loaded mashed potatoes flavored popcorn, the super cute charcuterie board to start, the coffee, the strawberry dessert compliment from the chef, the delicious filet, topped with crab meat & garlic butter & purple mashed potatoes & the macaroon dessert, this place is top notch. Dinner with a view is an understatement. The Trolley & the sunset over looking Pittsburgh. This place establishment deserves 5 stars & more. Excellent dining experience.
