Michael's Family Restaurant & Diner

I have never been disappointed when I go there to eat. The food is so good and filling. I have to space out my visits because the plates are size portioned as shareable. Few restaurants serve my favorite breakfast of creamed chipped beef which taste I aquirred since childhood. It is very popular with us Seniors and sells out; depending on your arrival time.

It's a diner, nothing more, nothing less, food wasn't bad, but wasn't great. While our server was nice she wasn't too "caring" about our food. She knew I wasn't happy with my sandwich (smothered in onions and peppers and she saw me picking them out) and simply didn't care. I even specified that I didn't like onions or peppers before ordering. The vibe is "old". I will say the menu had lots of options and the service overall was fairly fast. I might return if in the area, but I would not drive out of my way to go here.

Broiled seafood combo $18 bucks...the broccoli was freezer burned and watery, the scallops were like eating rubber, the fish was dry, the shrimp was mushy, the crab cake was over seasoned. Spaghetti and meatballs...the big dried meatballs on a bunch of dried noodles with tasteless sauce. I think my 5 yr old enjoyed the chicken fingers and french fries but she didn't finish it and that's her favorite food. Chef Ramsay would shut it down! On a better note the cream of potato soup was delicious
