IHOP

I can't rate the food because I wasn't even able to place an order. I wanted to order the pumpkin spice pancakes, but it wasn't an option online for the combo I wanted. I tried to call three times, actually four. The first time I immediately got cut off, the second through third times it rang 10 times and cut me off. I decided to drive to the restaurant and just place an order. When I got there, I asked the hostess if they were taking carry out orders, she said yes, but it would be a few minutes. I told her I had tried to call four times, and she said they didn't take phone orders on the weekends. At this point I was so upset I just decided I didn't even want to give them my money and I went somewhere else. I remember that I have had many difficulties in place with carry out orders and them actually getting them correct there, which is why I haven't tried it in a long time. Food was good and service was fast. 12:20p on 10-15-22. But, the kitchen staff are listening to loud music. There isn't an actual wall there between them and the guest. So I have two different sets of music in my ears. Dining room and kitchen music. Very distracting. Also, most coffee options were not available.

The food was very good. The service was apathetic and pathetic. We had to ask for silverware, drink refills, and parts of our order that didn't make it from the kitchen to the table. Our server was wearing earbuds. I don't know what she was listening to but it clearly wasn't the customers. There were customers at five tables only when I was there. And that counts the table I was sitting at. With so few customers you would have thought service would have been good. It wasn't. If you are willing to tolerate less than mediocre service stop in by all means. Otherwise go elsewhere.
