Quality Inn Charleston I-57

We were traveling through and actually had planned on stopping in Sikeston but the rodeo was in town and not a hotel to be found. This Quality Inn had 1 room left and it was a smoking room. I’m very sensitive to smoke but after driving for 11 hours we were just happy to have a room. I was pleasantly surprised by how clean the room was and after getting the ac going it actually didn’t smell too awful! All in all I’d stay here again.

The room my family and I stayed in smelled of cigarettes, my dog found a bug under the bed, and the hot breakfast they advertised was minipancakes that we made ourselves. It would have taken an hour to make enough pancakes to fill me. The only reasons we picked this place were the price with a hot breakfast included. It was cheap with a continental breakfast so McDonald's was the choice for breakfast

Needs a bit of an upgrade moldy looking around the caulking on the tub and floors in the restroom. Took forever to get a receipt for my stay be it printout or email. Still haven't received the emails yet to 2 different emails and I add I'm an Elite Diamond Member (no acknowledgement). I did eventually get a printout receipt. The breakfast is really lacking and I do mean lacking. Should just revert back to Pandemic days but you can't expect much for the price or can you?
