Su Casa Restaurante

The hostess was immediately rude as we walked in. The server was nice overall although we didn’t see her much and the restaurant was not busy. The chips and queso were mid. The chicken street tacos were the worst I’ve ever eaten. The shell was stale and there was barely any chicken inside. Was not worth the price by a mile. By far the worst Mexican restaurant I’ve ever been to. The only good thing about it was the view outside. It also took a long time to get my beer and I was finished eating when it finally came. I would highly recommend not going here.

Honestly, just not a good experience. There was a wait to put your name on the waiting list, and you wait on the sidewalk for someone to come take your name. There are indoor & outdoor seating options, and the outdoor seating is dog-friendly, which is the best part of this location. After waiting a very long time to be seated, we ordered as quickly as possible, but we still waited over 45 minutes for our food to arrive. In short, the food was bland, but we were so hungry after all the waiting that we ate it just to finally get out of there. The best part of the meal was the berry mojito & the chihuahua cheese dip. Everything else was dry & flavorless. If any other dog-friendly place had been open on a Tuesday, we would have left sooner. Vegetarian options: The menu marks vegetarian & vegan options, however, no other dietary restricted options are listed. Black bean tamales, veggie tacos.

This is a good Mexican joint. The food was very good. Drinks were OK. Not the best I’ve had but definitely not the worst. Their on the rocks drinks were much better than the frozen. Everyone at our table seemed to enjoy their food. The service was very good. Our server told us that they were slammed and food would take a while. I very much appreciated this as he managed our expectations, and I feel like that is all you can ask for at a restaurant. We sat out on the patio overlooking the harbor that is across the street. Not the best view in the world as it isn’t RIGHT on the water, but it’s good enough in my opinion. Overall I would recommend this restaurant
