Q39 South

Ordered one evening about an hour from close. Our daughter wanted something else but by the time we arrived to that place they refused to take the order. We contacted Q39 to add something on in a pinch and they were very accommodating. When we arrived the order was ready as promised with our last minute add-on. Food was fresh, hot ???? and delicious!!! The staff was very pleasant and efficient. Their service, quality and value is impeccable. I can totally see why they're one of the top barbecue spots in town. I highly recommend trying them and if you're an established customer keep frequenting and supporting this Kansas City gem. Great ????job and please keep up the excellent work you're doing Q39!!!! Update (8/13/23): Visited again this evening. Brenda is absolutely AMAZING on the "To Go" side. She was patient, caring, knowledgeable and came to our vehicle with a smile at the end of the night. She made wonderful suggestions and helped us decide exactly what we wanted. Q39 and Ms. Bren

Maybe the best BBQ I've had ever. Period. I'm an out-of-towner who visited the KC area for a night. My wife and I looked for a top rated BBQ restaurant near Drury Inn and we were impressed by Q39. We sampled and shared a few different things (ribs, brisket, vegetables, and sides) and everything we tried was excellent. Our unanimous favorite was the burnt ends. Kansas City and Q39 definitely lived up to the hype!

After being seated, we waited 25 minutes for someone to ask what we wanted to drink. After that our waitress was great. Food was outstanding brisket was excellent. Overall a great experience. Would have been 5 stars if we didn't get missed after being seated. … More
