Okayama Sushi

Really great service and accommodating staff. They have a great lunch special (until 4 PM) that includes your choice of two or three items for either 16.99 or 19.99. I had the salmon teriyaki and I love that. She asked if I wanted the sauce on the fish or if I preferred it on the side. I ordered salmon nigiri as my second item and when I received my bento box it was a salmon roll instead. They did not hesitate to replace it with the item that I wanted, which I really appreciated! The rolls are pricey at almost $20 each, but they are huge! Definitely share them if you want variety. Overall, I prefer Amami Sushi for its value, freshness, and flavor, but this is a great choice that's open after 2 PM when most Japanese restaurants are closed. They also have their own free parking lot, which is a great bonus in Japantown!

WARNING. The Google rating is misleading. They can’t even make rice correctly! The rice taste like glue here. The tofu is all wrong. This is NOT a Japanese restaurant that you’re looking for. Don’t even come pay for this experience.

I ordered 3 rolls for takeout: rainbow roll, fantasy roll, and a spicy tuna roll. Came out to about $44. The taste and the quality was great. They threw in a free edamame. I'm happy
