Services need major improvements. I made a reservation for a family birthday celebration last week. When we arrived, a host took us to a booth with dirty seat. I pointed out to her a huge puddle of sticky fluid on the seating surface and she just nodded to the next booth said we can take the next booth. Our waiter provided quite bad service that ruin our celebration dinner. From the first course to the main course to dessert, he kept rushing us and came asking if we are done or want to-go box or if we want our check every time he passed by our table (instead of filling our water glasses or ask if we need anything else). Basically within 30 min of seating from when we just had a few bites of steaks and obviously we did not even finish 1/3 of the plate yet. Eventually we just got tired of him rushing us (not sure why as it was early evening and there are plenty of tables available) that we took our steaks home instead of having nice dinner in peace. There are hardly any edible vegetarian options here. We went for lunch and tried the spaghetti without the chicken. It was one of the worst we had..with no seasoning and sauce. That dish did not deserves to be sold for $13. We also took the classic burger (replacing patty with a veg) which i will never have again. Bland & tasteless. With Lazy Dog open in the neighbourhood i would have expected better food and service. Avoid this place if you are a vegetarian!

BJs makes an EXCELLENT burger and always has in my experience! Meat to bun ratio is perfect. Brioche style bun is not sweet and is pretty sturdy so it doesn't get soggy fast. My companion was happy with her seasonal "strawberry fields" salad. Our server, Hector, was also good and did not rush us. Although it's been well over a year since I last visited, it was an overall a great experience, as I expected.
