Waffle House

Place was half empty. We sat at a booth for several minutes without being acknowledged. Employees were busy cracking jokes and we even heard one of them making fun of how their "turnaround is slow as hell". When we left they looked surprised. Please...

I use to be a server so I always try to give people the benefit of the doubt; However, this is the WORST restaurant (service and food) that I’ve ever encountered. There were 9 employees working and all of them were either playing on their phone, dancing in the corner, or continuously walking outside. Wouldn’t clean tables, wouldn’t wait on you, and blatantly ignored all of the customers. After waiting 20 mins for them to clean tables (they were busy gossiping) and get a seat, it took another 20 mins to get something to drink (again not bc they were busy but bc they were playing). Then, when we did manage to get food after 45 mins it was wrong and cold. We couldn’t get a waitress to come over to let her know they messed up our order so we just said we would eat it, no worries. When we went to eat our screwed up order, the hash browns and chicken breast were raw and cold, and eggs were cold. I mean just came out of the fridge cold. So we were going to pay and leave. Worst service I have every had. We walked in and was ignored and then finally somebody ask for here or to go so we decided to get it to go. Mind you we were already there 10 minutes before we were anyone even Acknowledge we were there. By this time 4 more patrons entered the building and she asked who was next. So o stood patiently as she took the first 2 people order and I ask who not going to take mine and she just looked at me so I walked out. Horrible service and I don’t recommend going there.
