Uptown Cantina

Went for two family members birthday on the 9th, mugshots was very rude and these guys welcomed my group of 8 with open arms. We requested an extra table (due to us having someone who isn’t normally with us and we wanted to space out a little just to be safe) which they got for us and very quickly got us taken care of. And let me tell you the staff was amazing! The food, amazing! The menu may be on the shorter side but man is there a variety, and something for everyone. I’m not a huge Mexican food fan but I’m hooked. Definitely will be back. I wish I remembered the young ladies name that took care of us because she was so patient, kind, and professional. Got the pleasure of speaking with the owner/manager on our way out and he was a pleasure as well. Can’t wait to come back for some delicious food.

Went there today because it looked like a cool place to eat and who can go wrong with Mexican food right? WRONG!!!. First of all the waitress had no personality at all and was very dry. Then on top of that we paid $90 for two adults and two kids. Which I don’t care about the money I saw the prices before we ordered. I at least thought with the prices the food was going to be outstanding! The food was not flavorful and the steak was tough, and the rice wasn’t cooked. Now we all like a little char but it was a bit excessive and the kids chicken fingers and fries looked like they had been cooked a few days ago… needless to say the plate was not touched because the tenders and fries were so hard. From the experience we had today we would have done better by just going to Taco Bell!

Went to the bar and had the best service! The food was spectacular, I had the Enchiladas and my husband had shrimp tacos. The queso is out of this world too ???? and I had the sweet bartender create me a Prickly Pear Mojito and it was fantastic!
