Ted's is a family run neighborhood restaurant. The food is affordable, fresh, and substantial. If you go for their week end brunch, you'll be good until supper. The menu features all the usual breakfast fare but the breakfast sandwich with choice of meat and the quesadilla are my favorites. Also good are the breakfast bowls, real waffles and real pancakes. Never tried the Chicken and waffle but it looks amazing, probably enough for two. If you're feeling adventurous try the greek burger or souvlaki sandwich. All orders come with fresh fruit and grilled red potatoes. As you might imagine, Ted's is busy but owner Tasos always has time to come by for a visit. The Birmingham restaurant scene has changed over the years, but thankfully traditional family restaurants like Ted's still exist.
