New China Restaurant

This is just my personal opinion. I was not crazy about this place. I have been wanting to try here for 2 years. My go to place (Chop Suey Inn) wouldn't answer for call in so I decided this is much closer anyway so a good time to try. Not crazy about how the kitchen (what you can see) looked like. Just dark and closed off and not clean. What looked like a giant bowl of rice just sitting out. Well I've eaten at "hole in the wall" type places before and can deal, if food is good. But it was not to me. OK, so I ordered fried dumplings, sweet n sour chicken, general tso's chicken and plain lo mein. The two chicken lunches come with fried rice, choice of soup and an eggroll. So these lunch meals are $8.95. Not too bad. But only my eggroll and sweet n sour chicken tasted freshly cooked. The General Tso was real dark and thick. The rice was sticky and at least a day old. My dumplings were just ok. My son liked the egg drop soup. My other son took one bite of the lo mein and said "nope". T

The rice fried rice was old, and the sesame chicken was soggy. The chicken had been prepared and sitting for a long time because it was dried out and chewy. I will not be spending my money here again. I recommend to the establishment to please serve your guests freshly prepared food.
