Jack's

I drive through this area often and avoided Jack’s because I confused it was another chain that I do not care for, but boy was I wrong to do that! Jack’s has some great southern fast food with a top-notch hot chicken sandwich that rivals anyone’s favorite from other fast food places. The fried pies are a particularly excellent treat, especially the lemon pie, and make any other pie from places like McDonald’s, or grocery stores pale as a weak imitation by comparison to this freshly made pie served while still hot! Good tea also, although I did not notice them having both kinds of tea on the menu, and when I asked for my tea to be half-and-half at the window, the lady politely but obviously UN-enthusiastically dumped out half the tea and topped off with the other. My only suggestion is that they be more clear on the menu that they have both sweet and unsweet tea. Either way, I will be back every chance I get!

If you're an early riser and enjoy a hearty breakfast, Jack's is the place to go. They open at 5am! Also, the food is consistently excellent. For example, very few places make a biscuit that rivals the ones at Jack's.

First time here. I went through the drive through and there were 4 cars in front of me. ????usually I’m okay with that ( means hot fries !) ! Took over 15 minutes to service 4 cars. I got a small burger and fries. Both were cold. Fries were soggy. Unfriendly service people. I’ll never go back.
