This was the blandest soul food I have ever had. It was like water was used as a seasoning for the dressing( cornbread stuffing ). Tasted no celery, onion, or any of the other main ingredients but cornbread and mushroom soup. The corn muffin was terrible since it was harder and durable as a rubber ball( could be caused by using too much water and oil, trying using buttermilk, and a lot of butter). It was like grits were used instead of cornmeal too. The fried chicken was burnt on one side but it was the only thing edible on the plate. The beef tips and rice had no flavor, at all. Even adding salt and pepper to it still tasted like over boiled beef with more water to spread out the gravy. You can add more flavor by grilling the onions with the meat and adding a pinch of salt and pepper. Then make the gravy out of the oil and fat left and a cup of flour plus add a pinch of salt and pepper. Keep stirring until all the flour is an even brown color, then add 3/4 cup of stock( meat or vegeta
