It’s a wonderful place for brunch in Auburn, AL! Everything is amazing from the atmosphere to the service, to the delicious food and drinks. There may be a wait, but don’t worry! There’s a cute heated porch with comfy swings and heaters.
The waiter was amazing and very kind and understanding. That being said, we waited a almost 2 hours for our food. When our food eventually did come 2 people at our table ordered chicken and waffles and the chicken was undercooked. There were several partially raw spots and striated as well. When we raised the concern to our waiter he went to check with the chef and instead of the chef coming to check themselves our waiter came back telling us it is supposed to look like that. Again, not his fault and all and they ended up giving us a discount but not enough considering it was not edible. We were very sad because we have had a great experience every other time we went there.
We went here for a nice night out and a birthday dinner. I do recommend a reservation. They got quite busy by about 6 PM. Pros; To start, this is a very modern farmhouse style restaurant that's tastefully done and prides itself on sourcing local fresh ingredients. So 5/5 on that. I'd rate the food itself as likely some of the best in Auburn It's very much prepared with love and care. I would definitely recommend the Farmers Daughter appetizer and the wedge salad. Both were fantastic. The dessert board was done very nicely and everything on it was good. I had the Steak Frittes and my wife had the sous vide chicken. Both were good, but not great. The entrees themselves were likely the weakest part of the meal. But to be clear, this review likely deserves to be 5 stars, but its getting 4 stars for now because I'd like to see them explore more potential around the entrees section of the menu and strive for perfection. Cons; Our table was quite small. We did have to juggle things around a b
