East Sea Fishery

my husband's co-workers own this place so we took his friend and wife there last night. The lady never spoke to us (even when we asked many times for a curtain seats which were available) and forgot to bring our friends food order until she brought us the bill and we reminded her that our friends still had not gotten there order. Many times we tried to find and get her attention to ask about their order. She never refilled drinks and it took her over an hour to bring me a fork no matter how many times I asked. It was quite embarrassing for us as we are the ones that invited them to eat there. First time we have ever had an issue but it was embarrassing enough that we will not be back.

I couldn't read about two-thirds of the menu, and our server also spoke halting English, but good Lord was the food delicious. I got the grilled mackerel (it turned out to be the entire fish), and the meat was flakey and the skin was the perfect level of crispy.

By far the best sushi in the 334. Don't waste your time going anywhere else in Auburn for sushi.
