Applebee's Grill + Bar

They were out of crayons for my 3-year-old and then gave her a kids menu. After asking the manager and two staff members I got a pin from the server. The drinks were 20 minutes to the table, appetizers came with the main course, and the chips for the appetizer were cooked way too long. They tasted burnt and gritty. The only decent thing I can say about this trip was the main course was decent. They were also out of strawberries that are on the kids menu. The manager seemed like she was having too much fun laughing with coworkers to care about any of these issues and didn't bother to come to the table to explain. I was so surprised by the mediocre staff Applebee's had running this Applebee's by the time we got our main course I didn't even want it.

The experience was good. I had a lot of fun with friends. Will be coming again!

BRING CASH, NOT CARD!!! (10/14/2023, about noon-ish.. Gameday) When the 4 of us got there, they weren't busy, nor did they get busy while we were there. They seated us at a cramped booth, basically at the door (guest size matters: for seating). The late teen, early twenties server came to us only for things like: drinks, order, food (served just warm), check.. didn't upsell, didn't check on us periodically. We split the bill 2on 1 (×2), so no auto gratuity, service deserved 15%max.. ....here's what's got me..I got charged 40$ (2 for meal deal) and $10 I can't account for,...MOST of the time the tip I added gets added when the meal charge posts yo bank (as ONE charge) and NOT as an additional fee/charge... $10, Isn't something to get a new card over or go through the hassle of getting some kind of reimbursement.. that Applebee's ???? is on the bottom of my go to list with a *CASH ONLY* note, I'd advise other to do the same.
