The Whistle Stop FAMILY Buffet

Can’t speak for lunch, but they have a big sign out front that reads breakfast. Worst food I’ve ever been served ever. My wife and I will forever refer to it as a time marker. Life before whistle stop and life after whistle stop. We laughed so much at our table they prob thought we were crazy, but the food was so bad it was comical. I’ve never written a bad review. The food was so far from eatable I had to make an exception.

Waitress need training. Poured the bottom of coffee pot full of coffee grounds in cup. Had to request another cup to then be informed she would have to make more. Had major trouble getting order correct. Were out of biscuits. They were more concerned with setting up for their lunch buffet than the customers there to eat breakfast. It may be a great place, maybe it was just one of those days that things go wrong. It was clean and staff were friendly.

I've eaten at the Whistle Stop several times and it's always delicious. The personal are friendly and very courteous. I was in the Whistle Stop a couple of weeks ago saw something I'll never forget. A woman in her later forties was at the register arguing that she was not going to pay for her seafood meal because she didn't get her baked potato. This was seafood buffet night and busy as all get out. Why she didn't ask for her potato during the meal is beyond me. Her husband had walked out didn't even stay inside with her. With everything that's going on with these times and restaurants doing everything they can to stay in business. The Whistle Stop lost any profit they would have made from these customers and from several other meals. Please everyone support our local businesses they're struggling to stay in business and serve us
