Davids Catfish House - Atmore

During lunch. Wasn't full, but lots of people. No wait and served quickly. May have been too quickly since there was a long hair in my plate under a few fries and over a few shrimp so I know it was from kitchen plate preparer. Hair nets should be worn. Saw it right away. Someone should have too before they served our table. Didn't like the cheese grits.

Delicious as usual! Stopped for a quick lunch and was in and out in 30 minutes. Friendly staff, good food and a very pleasant atmosphere. You need to try their raspberry cheesecake, it was a delicious surprise. I had gumbo, coleslaw, hush puppies and raspberry cheesecake. Oh, and don't forget their delicious Southern sweet tea.

Oh my...this was some of the best seafood and grits ever. The service was great Can't wait to visit again. It was more than five of us and everyone had something positive to say. Dave I'm so glad we road pass Dixi and came to you.
