The steak tacos with a good squeeze of lime and green sauce are to die for. Posole Thursdays are great, the serving is huge and it comes with all the traditional fixings. For those who don't know, posole traditionally is a pork and hominy soup. The torta cubano is amazing: jalapeños, avocado slices, ham, pork, and the thinest tender hand breaded chicken you'll ever have and even though it's nice and thin it's still tender and juicy so it makes the sandwich just perfection. It has mayo too but I switch that for the green sauce. The dessert here is amazing and you have about a million options. It's hard to believe this place started from a bus at a gas station, but even then it was worth the 15 minute wait for your food if you didn't call in your order first. These days the wait is much shorter and they have 2 locations to choose from.

my boyfriend and i are obsessed with sabor latino! Id recommended trying their steak tacos, cheese dip, or the chicken and rice. The shrimp cocktail is the best ive had at a restaurant! Best authentic place in northern alabama! :)

Large portions, affordable. A fun vibe with many sweet treats. Downsides are that it is too dark inside, and most of the food appears to have been frozen. The best time of day to go is lunch or early dinner.
