Samurai Japanese Steakhouse Hibachi & Sushi Bar

The food was ok. I come from a big city where Japanese food is prepared by craftsman in their field. I am spoiled by that. The katsu chicken was completely overcooked. Extremely tough and hard to bite and chew. The sushi was typical and good. The deal is the Bento boxes. Plenty of food. The ragoons are really tasty, again, overcooked though. It's as if they forget everything was in the fryer. I will return though. My server was excellent. Remember to tip your servers 20%!! This small town thinks servers get $10 regardless of how the bill is. ????

The food was good the service not so much. Our waitress didn’t give us a place setting for each of us or napkins when I asked. It like we were putting her out if we needed anything. I think she needs to find another line of work. The sad part is that the place was empty so she wasn’t busy.

My family and I love sushi and other Japanese cuisine so we chose this restaurant while headed out on vacation. This restaurant did not disappoint! We shared harumaki and calamari appetizers. Both were excellently prepared. We also has three different sushi rolls as well as a lunch bento box. The portions for the sushi rolls was larger than expected which was a pleasant surprise. We all highly recommend Samurai! We will be back soon!
